The track
will be open the week prior to register early, set up camp and test and tune your rig but you must sign
a wavier and stay off the race obstacles.
July 3rd:
9:00am - 11:00am - Registration and Tech
11:30am Drivers Meeting - all drivers must attend
Noon - Driver Introductions - O Canada - Competition starts
2:30pm - Intermission - This depends on how fast the first stage is run - All trucks return to pit areas to enjoy the 1/2 time show featuring Short Track Racing, Burnouts and more. Very high speeds, for your own safety STAY IN THE PIT AREA
3:00pm - Racing restarts
5:00pm - You have 15min to leave the track area or get parked
5:15pm - NO RUNNING ENGINES! Spectator
meet'n'greet. Track opens to public. Yes you have fans please be professional, courteous and
accommodating.
6:00pm - Track closes. You can leave your rig on the track
but Highriders assume no responsibilities
5:30pm - Balloon Rides all evening, weather permitting
7:30pm - Highrider Evening Show. Limited seating and shelter bring a chair. This is a great chance to socialize but try to get some sleep you race the next day.
July 4th:

11:30 - Drivers Meeting - all drivers must attend.
Noon - Driver Introductions - O Canada - Competition starts
2:30pm - Intermission featuring Wheel to Wheel Short Track Racing Finals

6:00pm - Trophy and awards presentations. Feel free to spend another night and join us at the wrap up party.
FAQ's
Is camping free?
Teams are allowed 2 camping units, 2 support vehicles and
your race truck. Relatives and friends may camp with you but
they must buy a gate pass and a upgraded camping pass. Visitors
to your campsite must park in the parking lot.
Spaces are first-come first-serve. Gates close at midnight. We have implemented these new rules to increase your safety,
comfort and security. Go here to read

Can I camp in the V.I.P area?
Yes, you may upgrade to VIP camping for
even more privacy but you must leave your rig in the pits. No race trucks allowed in the V.I.P. area. VIP camping
has a quiet time between 11:00pm to 8:00am.
Are you experienced promoters?
2010 marks our 10th year of organized events and our 5th stadium style race. Around 50 volunteers are involved with HRC and many of these since the beginning. You will find a well oiled event designed to maximize the fun for everyone. The crowd has a great view of the race but is safely contained so you can "Let Loose" We have taken great care in designing the hardest wildest 4x4 courses ever but always with safety as the highest priority. HRC has never experienced a serious injury but just in case a team of emergency professionals are only seconds away.
HRC has full coverage insurance with all the required permits and licenses.
Is my pet allowed at the event?
Yes, but pets must be kept under the control
of a leash, caged or kept in your vehicle with adequate ventilation
and water. Pets are NOT allowed in the pits. This is a motor sports race and is not a suitable or safe environment for pets. Do yourself, your neighbors and most importantly your pet a favor and leave them at home.
What's up with the evening show?

What's included in my entry fee?
100% of your entry fee goes directly to the prize pool. Plus you recieve free camping, sponsor give-away's and discounted admission, pit and camping passes for your friends and family.
So what's up with the freestyle? There is nothing to win but if you want to have some fun without
the pressure of the comp, here's your chance. You have 10
min's at the end of the days comp to do what ever you want
like jumps, donuts, fly through the mud or take a crazy line
over the rocks. You must first prearrange your show with the
Track Boss and follow his direction.
What can I win? We strive to give
back as much as we can to the competitors. Trophies and 100%
of the entry fee in cash for each class. (eg: 1st-50%, 2nd-30% 3rd-20%) The winner
of the Highriders Cup will have their name engraved on the coveted
cup plus a valuable prize. The winner also takes the HRC cup home for one year and is automatically entered at no charge into the next HRC.
Every team has a chance to win more prizes at the raffle..
Can I buy extra pit passes for my crew?
Yes each
driver may buy up to 4 pit passes. Each pass is $5.00 plus
gate admission. Only teams and officials are allowed on the
obstacle courses all others must stay in the pit areas.

Can I bring my atv?
Yes but only
officials and teams are allowed to us unlicensed vehicles
and only after the required paperwork.
Is there an event T-shirt?
Yes
every year we have a new limited print available at the event.

Camping Rules:
- All campers must register and purchase a admission ticket.
We have limited space and campsites are assigned on a first
come first serve basis.
- Competitor's "friends and relatives" vehicles MUST
camp in the general spectator area unless upgraded.
- No electrical or water hookups are available. Port-Potties
available.
- All campers must vacate the facility by noon the day following
the event.
- If leaving the facility for the evening, our gates close
at 11:00 p.m., all overnight campers must be in by this time
or risk being locked out of the facility for the night. *Sounds
at your campsite should be heard only at your campsite.
VIP CAMPING: VIP sites
are located away from the hustle and bustle and must observe
a quiet time between 11:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Use of profanity,
loud music, obnoxious disturbances or nuisances will not be
tolerated and violators will be asked to leave. No race trucks allowed.
PARKING: Do not block thru ways, any person
visiting you while at the park must park their vehicle in
the parking lot. Please respect your area as not to infringe
on others. No vehicles are allowed to park on the roadways.
MOTOR VEHICLES / OFF ROAD VEHICLES: All
off road vehicles (any vehicle not licensed for highway use)
are NOT allowed except for competitors and staff after required
paperwork. Speed limit is 10 km
PETS: Pets must be kept under the control
of a leash, caged or kept in your vehicle with adequate ventilation
and water.
FIRES: No open fires. Fires must be built
in a device designed for elevating a fire off of the ground
such as a grill or patio fire pit.? Fires are permitted when
weather conditions are normal (no high winds or dry conditions)
and must be placed in a manner as not to endanger other people
or property. No firewood is available.
GARBAGE: Please make sure all garbage is
placed in the garbage cans nearest to your campsite.
Failure to observe the rules of this facility will result
in instant cancellation of your camping privileges.? You will
be evicted without refund and parties involved will be prosecuted
to the full extent of the law. Tail Creek Race Way reserves
the right to refuse entrance at the gate.
