currently running 12bolt rear but want to go ford 9" rear for floating axels, ring gear options, and most important spool. 12 bolt offers only mini spool in rear but i want to keep 6 bolt pattern....

I'm not sure what your rig is, but the strongest (that I know of) 6 bolt axle is the 14 bolt semi-float. It can be found in 88 - 95 chevy 3/4 ton pickups.
