1987 Jeep YJ for sale, needing a good home that will use it for what it was built for.
I built this Jeep living in Grande Prairie and have owned it since about 1996. It was wheeled maybe 15 times before I moved to Calgary and here it has sat in my garage for the last 4 years, only taken out twice. It is in SW Calgary, may consider delivery to another city. Mabye 1000 kms on the build.
Consists of:
Fastback soft top, bikini top, black hard top.
Engine: rebuilt v6 258. Pacesetter headers and Dynoflow exhaust
Webber offroad carb.
Just bought new battery
HEI distributer (bought not yet installed)
Second engine on stand (bought to “do it up”, but never happened)
V6 258, bored .030, comp cam.
Lift: Rubicon express extreme duty 4.5” springs. 2 inch body lift. 2 inch drop shackles.
Micky Thompson Baja Claws 35x15.5x15. I would say 90%, cut every second lug out and they work much better. 35” spare, not matching.
6” fender flares
Custom Northern Alberta trail pin striping.
New Ford 8.8 rear diff from National 4wd, disk brakes, trac lok, 4.10 gears
Dana 30 front, truss added for strength. DETROIT LOCKER, 4.10 gears. NEW chro-molly axles with super u-joints only wheeled once.
Rebuilt AX-15 tranny from jeep stuff.
231 transfer case with slip yoke eliminator kit
Custom CV rear drive shaft and new front drive shaft.
WARN 9000XD winch, bought new, pulled mabye 6 times.
